What function do people have in the future? What happens and where are we doing it for?

Questions I asked myself:
Where are human in the future?
Where are we now?
Where do we as people work for and what is our goal?
How do humans see the world?
Is the future different from the present or past, or are we still living in the seem moment?
Is it the 'human' or 'humans'? Because, does everyone experience life in a different way?
Do we have a target?
Do we ever life in the moment, or are we just focussing on the future?
Is the future for the next generation?
Is every human as an element for the future identical?
Research
The society collapse and than start over again, kind of a vicious circle. It kind of repeats itself: past, present, future. Past, present, future. But with more and more changes.
Humans have only self- interest in the future, we are seperated from each other, but still connected.
My concept/plan
I want to visualize a question or an answer I have on one of my questions.
Sketches/ideas:
- On the road, to? It is one road. We are on our way to the future, but in fact we have already been there. Some things seem to chance, they seem like big chances, but actually we are still following the seem road. The road in this life. So, we keep on going, going on the road. Sometimes there is an other shape in the road, but it's still the same path. Because it will never end, you are always on the way to the future. When we think we are there in the future with new things we had predict, there will be a new future in the distance. Like infinity.
The question: Is the future different from the present or past, or are we still living in the seem moment?
Answer I have: It doesn't matter if we do things now or later, because if we do it now soon it will be in the past and if we do it in about ten years, that will be in the future, but we actually not going anywhere. Because I think there is no end station.

Answer I have: Yes, that will always be.

Answer I have: Maybe.

My idea I prefer now: 'On the road'
The exposition space I want to use: de Zoutkelder (0.13).
My idea to show my work in the space is to show different kinds of roads. Different shapes. Maybe not literally roads, maybe different colors. Together they can be a unit. I want to spread them through the room and reunite a couple in one corner from the floor, to the wall and up to the ceiling.
I would like to make a movie or animation of us following the road, that will play in the room.
